Aconseguir\u00e0 desxifrar les circumst\u00e0ncies d&#8217;un suposat accident de tr\u00e0nsit, tal com s\u2019afirma oficialment? Per ventura trobar\u00e0 l&#8217;autor del crim? I aix\u00f2 \u00e9s degut probablement a la seua dedicaci\u00f3 exclusiva a escriure novel\u00b7les, a la seua professionalitat sense concessions de cap mena.<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p><p><em>\u2212A pesar de totes les dificultats, en les teues novel\u00b7les s\u2019ensuma una intensa ambici\u00f3 liter\u00e0ria ben allunyada de la trivialitat a qu\u00e8 ens han acostumat darrerament certs novel\u00b7listes<\/em>&#8230;<\/p><p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u2212\u201cM\u00e9s que ambici\u00f3, jo diria voluntat liter\u00e0ria. I \u00e9s ben normal, en realitat t\u2019adones que els pintors investiguen llenguatges. \u00bfPer qu\u00e8? Perqu\u00e8 un bon dia va apar\u00e8ixer la fotografia i els va usurpar aix\u00ed la figura. En canvi, apareix el cine, l\u2019audiovisual, ens han furtat l\u2019argument, i nosaltres encara el reivindiquem com a fonamenta. No, si de cas \u00e9s un element m\u00e9s. L\u2019eina i la mat\u00e8ria, tan importants per als pintor, sembla que no tinguen cap inter\u00e8s per als escriptors. I aix\u00f2 \u00e9s un greu error. I mentre la pintura, la m\u00fasica i altres arts evolucionen, la literatura va quedant-se estancada quasi al sainet, g\u00e8nere al qual t\u00e9 tot el dret a dedicar-se el que vulga. I \u00e9s que s\u2019oblida que la literatura, a m\u00e9s d\u2019una via de comunicaci\u00f3, \u00e9s un art, i art vol dir experimentaci\u00f3, recerca de nous camins\u201d. L\u00ednia Trencada ens narra les perip\u00e8cies d\u2019un historiador que es veu involucrat en una sinistra trama d\u2019intrigues pol\u00edtiques i que, finalment, pren la decisi\u00f3 d\u2019investigar pel seu compte, una recerca dels altres que \u00e9s a la vegada una recerca de si mateix i dels seus or\u00edgens. Els possibles sentits de la hist\u00f2ria es veuen afavorits pel coneixement directe que l\u2019autor t\u00e9 d\u2019aquesta part del m\u00f3n \u00e0rab, per\u00f2 hi ha a dins del llibre una frase que potser \u00e9s la clau per a entendre\u2019l, i la diu un dels personatges millor tra\u00e7ats del llibre, el sospit\u00f3s pintor Hammadi: \u201c&#8230;al Magrib hom pot dir el que vol, per\u00f2 no escriure-ho\u201d. No \u00e9s estrany, doncs que, quan un historiador decideix investigar la mort de Salah K., un destacat dirigent intel\u00b7lectual i de l\u2019oposici\u00f3, l\u2019estat de les coses comenci a esdevenir perill\u00f3s: <\/em>\u201cperqu\u00e8 era una hist\u00f2ria real m\u2019exigia un despla\u00e7ament personal \u2013com acostumen a fer els detectius privats\u2212, m\u2019imposava uns personatges i uns paisatges, em dictava una incertesa i un suspens determinat&#8230;\u201d (<strong>Xulio Ricardo Trigo<\/strong>. P\u00e0gs. 72).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ebe85b1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ebe85b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Aquest absurd o la sensaci\u00f3 extrema d\u2019estranyament que resumeix a la p. 38 (\u201cestranger en aquell paisatge [&#8230;], tornat un \u00e9sser estrany a mi mateix, [&#8230;] estrany en aquell pa\u00eds\u201d) recorden tamb\u00e9 la p\u00e8rdua i la impot\u00e8ncia d\u2019un personatge a qu\u00e8 remet sens dubte a Joseph K, i a <strong>El proc\u00e9s<\/strong>, de Kafka. El text tampoc no ho amaga, si considerem que <strong>casualment<\/strong> \u201cSalah K. parlava de Kafka en el centre cultural alemany d\u2019El Magreb\u201d, i que, d\u2019altra banda, comparteixen un mateix laberint: aquell \u2013com assenyala a la p. 103, amb el mateix nihilisme de l\u2019autor txec\u2212 on som tots des que naixem. Tanmateix, no \u00e9s l\u2019\u00fanic referent cultural que, \u00e9s enll\u00e0 de l\u2019an\u00e8cdota, amaga aquest nom: aix\u00ed, per exemple, quan descriu Salah K. amb un \u201ccos suposadament alt i robust com el d\u2019Orson Welles\u201d, no pot recordar-ne l\u2019adaptaci\u00f3 cinematogr\u00e0fica d\u2019<strong>El proc\u00e9s <\/strong>\u2013no hi feia pas el paper de Joseph K.\u2212, sin\u00f3 el mite, molt m\u00e9s conegut, de <strong>Citizen Kane<\/strong>. Aqu\u00ed s\u00ed que era Welles qui va interpretar el paper de \u201cciutad\u00e0 K.\u201d. Tamb\u00e9 hi coincideix el proc\u00e9s argumental: l\u2019enigma impl\u00edcit en la mort, l\u2019intent de reconstrucci\u00f3 a partir de la recuperaci\u00f3 de l\u2019entorn, i el frac\u00e0s final (amb la difer\u00e8ncia que a la novel\u00b7la no abandonarem mai \u2013altrament que a la pel\u00b7l\u00edcula\u2212 el pla subjectiu que limita les nostres percepcions). Per\u00f2 les coincid\u00e8ncies no s\u00f3n nom\u00e9s circumstancials: en un altre nivell, <strong>Ciutad\u00e0 Kane<\/strong> tamb\u00e9 es relacionava amb Kafka, tal com al mateix any de l\u2019estrena (1941), ara fa cinquanta anys, ho va dir Borges, afegint-hi: \u201cEl tema (a la vez metaf\u00edsico y policial, a la vez psicol\u00f3gico y aleg\u00f3rico) es la investigaci\u00f3n del alma secreta de un hombre, a trav\u00e9s de las obras que ha construido, de las palabras que ha pronunciado, de los muchos destinos que ha roto\u201d. \u00c9s, doncs, la l\u00ednia trencada de l\u2019assumpci\u00f3 d\u2019ordre \u2013pret\u00e8s, i no assolit\u2212; la de les vies que separen la ficci\u00f3 de la realitat i que li permeten parlar-nos de la novel\u00b7la i el seu proc\u00e9s creatiu; la de les vides possibles, o la de l\u2019individu i les seues arrels i els seus aven\u00e7os, o la d\u2019un temps que \u2013segons l\u2019asserci\u00f3 amb qu\u00e8 acaba la novel\u00b7la\u2212 no \u00e9s \u201cm\u00e9s que un cad\u00e0ver\u201d (p. 233), perqu\u00e8, recordant unes paraules for\u00e7a conegudes d\u2019einstein que se situen en les mateixes coordenades de suspensi\u00f3 de la credulitat, \u201cla distinci\u00f3 entre passat i futur es tan sols una il\u00b7lusi\u00f3, encara que persistent\u201d. <\/em>(<strong>Joaquim Noguero i Ribes<\/strong>.
